The Day
A market worthslowing down for.
This is not a walk-through-and-leave market.
We keep the room small, ask every vendor
to bring something made for the day,
and give you a reason to stay in it
— a pastry box to open, a drink in your hand,
and a Trivia table to sit down at.

Good to Know
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Do I need a ticket to get in?
Yes. This is a ticketed market, open to anyone who buys a ticket. We curate the vendors and ask each one to prepare something special. Your ticket also includes the pastry box, the mocktail glass, and the other goodies.
Why is there a cap on the tickets?
The venue has a set capacity, so tickets are limited.
Do I have to play Trivia?
No. Trivia is completely optional. Your ticket gets you the market, your pastry box, your mocktail glass and your vendor discount either way. Trivia runs from 2 to 3 PM for anyone who wants to play. You can shop, eat and relax the whole afternoon.
How does Trivia work?
Form a team of 3 to 5 people and register it at the hall on the day. At 2 PM we run one hour of questions on the main floor. The top teams win prizes. Everyone on your team needs a ticket and needs to be in the room when it starts.
What is the theme of the Trivia?
You'll find out at the event. Bring a team of 3–5 people and come ready for anything.
How do we sign up a Trivia team?
Register your team at the hall on the day. Spots are limited and go first come, first served, and everyone on your team needs to be in the room at the start. See the Trivia section for the full details.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. Sandy bakes one pastry box for every ticket sold, and no extras, so there are no tickets at the door. Please buy tickets online before the day for everyone in your group.
Do you offer group discounts?
We are not offering discounts at this time.
Does the 10% off really apply to everything?
It applies to everything you buy in one transaction with one vendor on the day. This is a big ask of our vendors, and it is also one of the things that makes this market special for you.
It does not apply to anything promised for later — a future course or session, for example — although a vendor may have their own special offer for you. The best thing to do is ask them. We trust our vendors completely and they are more than happy to help. Let's make this a wonderful day.
We are vendors — can we still apply?
Our space is limited, but please contact clubcitrine25@gmail.com to see availability.
Where do I park?
There are two parking lots, one in front of the hall and one at the back. Free street parking also runs along Bowness Road NW and the surrounding side streets. Give yourself a few extra minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
The west parking lot sits on 85 Street NW and is reached from 34 Avenue. Water main construction is currently closing the usual way in, so take 33 Avenue to 85 Street to reach 34 Avenue.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There is a ramp to the main hall, where the whole market runs.
The doors do not have auto-openers yet. If a wheelchair user is arriving on their own, please know there is a doorbell at the door to call for help.
If you have access needs, tell us when you book or email clubcitrine25@gmail.com and we will make sure the day works for you.
Can I bring kids?
Yes, and we would love to have them. We do ask that children stay in the care of the adult who brought them for the whole afternoon. The room gets busy, there is glassware on every table, and our team will be running the event rather than watching over little ones.
Children 12 and under do not need a ticket. They will not receive a pastry box or glass, so anyone who wants their own goodies needs their own ticket.
Is everything really alcohol-free?
Yes. Club Citrine is a zero-proof bar — 100% fun, 0% alcohol. Every drink poured on the day is alcohol-free.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. Email us before October 16 with the new guest's name and email and we'll reissue their code.
What if I have allergies or dietary needs?
Let us know when you book, or email us. The pastry box comes from a working bakery, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, but we will tell you exactly what is in your box.
What should I bring?
A tote bag for anything you buy, and a card or cash for the vendors. Bring your confirmation email on your phone. There is no need to print it.
What if I don't get my confirmation email?
Check your spam and promotions folders first. Still nothing? Email clubcitrine25@gmail.com with the name you booked under and we'll resend it.
Is it indoors? What if the weather turns?
The whole market is indoors, so we go ahead rain, shine or first snow.
Will there be food to eat on the day?
Yes — alongside your pastry box, our vendors will have things to buy and eat throughout the afternoon.
Can I buy a ticket for someone as a gift?
Absolutely. Enter their name and email as the guest and the ticket code goes straight to them. Put your own details in the "Who is booking" section so the receipt comes to you.
